About Dr. Justin Merritt, MD
Dr. Justin Merritt is a fellowship-trained electrophysiologist with Orlando Health Medical Group Cardiology in Rockledge. He diagnoses and treats heart rhythm issues including atrial fibrillation, bradycardia and tachycardia and implants pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac resynchronization devices. Dr. Merritt also is skilled in nuclear cardiology and cardiovascular disease. He received his bachelor's degree in zoology from the University of Florida in Gainesville and his medical training from St. George's University in Grenada. Dr. Merritt completed an internal medicine residency at UF, a cardiovascular imaging fellowship at the Gainesville VA Medical Center and general cardiology and electrophysiology fellowships at UF.

Dr. Merritt and his staff are awesome! He always encourages me to stay active, which I do. I go to the gym, ride a bike, and do outdoor yardwork and he has my labs and my vital signs. The Dr. and the science feel that this is best for me. I've been in the system long enough to know that believing in your healer is crucial. I BELIEVE IN MY HEALER!
