Erik Richardson, DO

I am so thankful to have Dr. Richardson as my family doctor. He is caring, knowledgeable, listens, and never rushes through an appointment. If there is ever a medical issue he always wants to get to the bottom of it, and will always order the appropriate tests. He is always proactive, which is so appreciated. Thank you, Dr. Richardson!

I've had a great experience with Dr. Richardson. He's attentive, direct, and takes the time to answer questions thoroughly without unnecessary fluff. I highly recommend him as a provider. That said, the front office staff could improve significantly in terms of customer service. As a former clinic manager in Seattle, I held my team to high standards, and unfortunately, that same level of professionalism hasn't been reflected here. On both of my visits, I noticed patients waiting (me being one of them) while staff seemed more focused on their Starbucks orders and cell phones than on assisting those in the lobby. Booking an appointment can also be a bit of a hassle, but if you're persistent and patient, seeing Dr. Richardson is absolutely worth it.

Highly recommend. Dr. Richardsons office fit me in rather quickly.This office is open Friday afternoons which is a rare find for working people. Dr. Erik Richardson is very knowledgeable made me feel very comfortable and took his time with me. Girls up front were pleasant as well.

I would like to give a HUGE shout out to Dr. Erik Richardson and his top notch office staff. I am going through a lot of medical issues and I probably have become a thorn in their side. But they still greet me with smiles in the office, smiles over the phone and are always pleasant and efficient. Dr. Richardson goes the extra mile to ensure that I get thorough, knowledgeable and hospitalble care. I have never left a visit without feeling that I am in great hands. He has a great bedside manner that always makes me feel comfort and cared for! I can't tell you what that means when you don't feel well. Give everyone a BIG high five from me.

I haven't seen a doctor in many, many years because I decided that I wasn't going to fix things that aren't broken (or in pain). Well I finally decided to get a checkup and see what's happening under the hood. Dr Richardson took his time to talk with me (not At Me!) and he explained what should happen next. After my results came back he again took his time to talk with me about what will happen next. He explained the results to me. He didn't just read through and leave me curious. Also, he asks me if I understand and if I have any questions. He is very personable, intelligent and caring. He even puts up with my idle chatter for a few minutes!! I can't speak highly enough of Dr Richardson and Millennial Physicians Group in Punta Gorda, Florida.
