Dr Shapiro is amazing! He is very thorough and really cares about his patients! He spent allot of time with me going over my concerns, and made appointments for follow up procedures. He is a great Doctor!!
About Dr. Barry E. Shapiro, DO
Dr. Shapiro Graduated from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his fellowship at the Graduate Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 1990. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology and nuclear cardiology and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. He recently moved to Florida from New Jersey where he practiced for over 34 years. He is married with three children and enjoys golf, music, fishing and pickleball.

My first visit was great. I bombarded him with a ton of questions regarding a possible afib diagnosis, showed him my Kardia results, and discussed my family history. He ordered an echocardiogram, a 30 day monitor, and will check my thyroid numbers. I appreciated his candour and efficiency.
