HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital

This was my first visit with HCA and I was very impressed with the entire process. From pretesting to the staff in the recovery and surgery suite. I have had many surgeries and never have I had a team of providers making sure I am comfortable from beginning to the end. From the volunteer making sure my blanket was always warm to the nurses, radiology staff, cardiology staff and lab staff. Top Notch! The only thing I was surprised that didn't happen was next day follow up call since I was a same day surgery release. I have my two week post op appointment this week and I hope to return to work next week. thank you all for the amazing care. Dr Jamie Alvarez is amazing!

Jaye was great. She showed me exercises to do and provided a pamphlet to take home. We went over wound care and she explained what I need to do at home. She was professional, caring and kind. I look forward to working with her and the other physical therapist. I'm grateful for having this teams treatment!

I was taking to Fawcett Emergency.I received the most unprofessional care. In my cloths the whole day there .I had not eaten all day. I asked for something to eat to about 6 people. Never got any food.The bathroom was never cleaned. No toilet paper. Worst experience there. Not enough room to list my other complaints. Some person in authority should look into that area.The only good experience I had was because I had no transportation to get home they provided me with The lift service. I thank you for that. I am 90 years old & expected better care.

horrible hospital!!! the ER staff barely came in to check out my fiance and sent him out quickly saying he is fine after a heart attack!! how is someone fine if they had a heart attack not to mention their was a patient that was screaming for a staff member to get out of her room and the staff seemed to make the woman's state of mind worse than laughed about it( we could hear this down the hall)..what kind of staff do you have in the ER? clearly staff that don't care if they send you out worse or didn't do anything for my fiance after his heart attack just said you're fine your heartbeat is normal( it was not normal at all).they also ripped out his iv causing major bruising and a cut(i have pictures and from his past visits too all from his iv being put in and taken out improperly. That kind of poor care can damage someone's veins!)..they just passed him off to his cardiologist and did nothing to help just tried to gaslight us and bs...the care by the staff in the ER is unacceptable and going to cause a lawsuit or kill someone!

Going to the ER on you long weekend isn't exactly how you plan to spend your time. However, my experience in the ER, being admitted, having surgery, and recovering was great. Every single staff member I interacted with were great. They were all very caring, considerate, and truly wanted to help. Excellent experience throughout.
