The only reason this amazing cardiologist isn't getting 5 is because of his staff (receptionist specifically). If you have a moment please let me briefly tell you why... I saw Dr. Lee in the C.unit and he was great. Very knowledgeable and direct, attentive with a good bedside manner. After I went to his office to have my heart monitor read back, I encountered who my family now calls "Rude Rebecca." This horrible staff member not only ignored my request, she was argumentative, rude, and I got off the phone sobbing. I was trying to explain my CMVD and how I have to reschedule on-the-spot if it's a bad day & can't move. But she rudely shouted over me, ridiculing a stranger. I hung up, sobbing. But was able to get around her. Since then, I've seen his underlings twice and spoke to him on the phone (about a month ago regarding my heart rate issues). He is so kind and answers the phone in the middle of the night for his patient's emergencies. But here we are a year later and I'm having issues with blood pressure. I called to try to speak with someone & to set up my semi-annual...but who do you think should answer the phone?? You got it, Rude Rebecca again. What are the horrible odds. She argued and made me get off the phone sobbing for the second time (making my high BP dangerously high). No one should have to deal with someone treating them like that, in any field!! Especially a cardiologist office where she could literally kill plp with her ugly attitude. So Dr. Lee gets 4 because of Rude Rebecca and how she is allowed to treat his patients. But if you can get past his terrible staff and to the cardiologist, he is great. But the best of luck getting past Rude Rebecca, she's literally not for the faint of heart!
