My doctor is a great man and I appreciate everything he does for me he goes above and beyond

My father in law goes to his office and we needed for him to send his information to a urologist for an emergency surgery it was requested three times and multiple attempts were made via phone by us and the urologist to his office. The staff claimed that my father in law has not gone to his office this year which was not true my father in law has copies of his insurance paying for his doctors visit. He was seen by his nurse practitioner not by his choice but he was told that the doctor was not available. Not a reliable office when it comes to an emergency. The day of his surgery multiple attempts were made again and no information was received even though he himself spoke to his secretary about it the day before. Not recommended this office or doctor. Thanks to god, he was able to have the procedure but the anesthesiologist had doubts due to the lack of information given from this office. My father in law has been a patient for five years.

The reason I am giving Dr.Murcia one star is not because he's not a fantastic Cardiologist is because I thought there's always an exception to the rule and since I walked in the office because I needed to see a Cardiologist ASAP, I was referred by Dr. Maria Dempaire primary care physician at South Florida Doctor's Group and not only I was referred by Dr. Dempaire but I used to work in Dr.Murcia's office for Dr. LUIS Oliva pediatric Gastro for three years so I had the opportunity to meet Dr. Murcia's and him to meet me. I was silly enough to think that maybe that created a little bond and maybe he would make an exception and he would see me today even as a last-minute patient walk in because when I called to make the appointment I was told that he's leaving next Monday for a month , I don't know vacation or personal, professional whatever it is, which is good and fine with me and that he would not be back for a "whole month "and that his soonest appointment wouldn't be until August. Both ladies in the front desk said no no no no no ... that the doctor would not see me , that they are not going to interrupt the doctor because he's doing a stress test with someone else ... STRESS ???that's funny because I'm so stressed now and probably my blood pressure is up to the mountains ... anyways, so I insisted and I said maybe he can make an exception ... I worked in this office for three years, the doctor I used to work for was paying rent for much longer than three years so maybe there is a possibility that the doctor makes an exception and sees me today. The lady stood up,walk to the doctors office and came back in 20 seconds to say that the doctor said NO and that's why I'm writing what I'm writing. Where is the swearing that doctors make to care for the patient and put the patient before their personal affairs??? I am very disappointed, sad, frustrated and surprised that a doctor that I met for three years from 2012 to 2015 that rented the office to my boss at the time: Dr. LUIS Oliva pediatric Gastro and came here every Tuesday for three years and Dr Oliva rented the office for much much longer before I joined and long after, couldn't make an exception hearing me because I speak loud so I'm pretty sure that he heard me when I was talking to the ladies in the front so I said I worked there for three years. I said I worked for Dr Oliva that used to rent the Office for several years... A Doctor that " always was very nice with me every Tuesday when I came for three years" but at the same time did not make an exception to see me not that I want to be seen on the spot. It's not my fault that he's going a month away , it's not my fault that he doesn't have an opening until August. It's great that he has a lot of patients and that he is "a good doctor" but he was not for me this time and that is sad. I just wanna let you know That they will treat you as a number, they will not treat you as a human being that needs to see a Doctor because of an unexplained blood pressure of 180/90...No matter if they know you or not they will not make an exception and that is super sad !!! If you still wanna see him, it's up to you.

He is a nice doctor, but his office treats us like numbers, not like real human beings. His staff is rude on the phone, don't care about anyone, speak as fast as they can to take the next in line. Last time I had an appointment, he was more than an hour late and no one could even care calling me to tell me to come later. I just left the premises without the appointment. And now that I need to see him, he is on vacation for 2 weeks and his staff just don't refer a substitute when I ask. I needed then to release my medical records for a new cardiologist and his staff makes everything very bureaucratic and impossible. It seems they just hate to work there and probably they hate this poor physician, ruining his business. I'm so sorry for this doctor, personally he is a nice person, but it's just impossible to be his patient.

The staff is terrible and completely unprofessional, they have elderly people waiting outside with no chance of seating or even trying to give them priority. I understand is for Covid-19 reasons but there is no excuse, this is completely inhuman. They should not overbook appointments if they can't have a number of people inside the office. The desk assistant is rude, doesn't care about patients and ignores them while laughing and talking with the nurse practitioner and making fun of other patients. Doctor Murcia is great but his staff is the worst. Had an appointment today at 2:00pm and they had me waiting an hour and other people were waiting for two!! Totally unacceptable! They should fire that lady or be more organized! Immoral practices in this office! Please avoid it! They don't care about anyone
