I have observed that others have provided less favorable reviews for this establishment, which I can understand. However, I personally had one of the most positive experiences imaginable there. I was promptly taken to labor and delivery when I was giving birth to my son. The staff was exceptionally accommodating and ensured my comfort before performing any procedures. My son was born within 20 minutes, and the staff was very quick to check on me, confirm my well-being, and ensure there were no complications.

5-Star Review
I had a wonderful experience with the outpatient services at HCA. The entire team was professional, caring, and incredibly efficient. From check-in to discharge, every step was smooth and well-organized. The nurses and staff took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable throughout my visit.
The facility was clean, welcoming, and ran on schedule, which I truly appreciated. The level of compassion and attention to detail exceeded my expectations. My only recommendation would be that it definitely needs upgrading in pt suites and waiting room.
I highly recommend HCA Outpatient Services for anyone looking for excellent care and a stress-free experience.

My post surgery stay was great, all the nurses and aides on the 2nd floor South were awesome; I mean, all of them on all shifts, even the ones who weren't assigned to my room 252. They came in more than average to check on my status, and even when I walked around the station they all would talk as I went by. Even the upper level nurses would stop by or stop me in halls for a chat; and the food service personnel were great, very polite and helpful with the tray setup. As good as a hospital stay could be for a colon surgery recovery patient, it was way above what I expected; I lacked for nothing and what I asked for was given, this bunch of nurses and aides were fabulous. I felt like I was at home and very relaxed; thank you all on 2nd Floor South!! Y'all and all y'all are very special people, I was very lucky to have been placed on this floor. Again, thank you!!

I just gave birth at this hospital to my newborn. Had a scheduled induction that went better than anticipated. From the check in staff, to the nurses, the doctors and the hospitality team - we had a wonderful experience here. I felt supported and taken care of every step of the way. And my baby was taken care of gently as well.
I love that HCA asks specific questions about delayed cord clamping, golden hour, and vaccines for baby. And they honor your birth plan barring no emergencies. They also did not wake me too many times during the night, and made sure I got sleep before leaving with my baby.

I have never experienced the lack of care and empathy from a hospital ER like I did today. I had been unable to get out of bed for 2 days from severe pain. I called ambulance because I knew it would be difficult getting in the car. The ambulance staff was very kind and I was able to barely walk to the stretcher, holding on to the bed and with their help. The nurse I saw was very nice in the beginning. She told me I could get a steroid shot if I wanted. At first I didn't want it because I had just taken a week's worth and wasn't sure if it was safe, but I got it anyway. I thought I would see a doctor and explained to her that I had an MRI done in Tampa and I had the contact information if they needed to get a copy of the MRI to share to a neurosurgeon because the neurosurgeon in Tampa told me I needed surgery. I told tue nurse that opioids made me sick, but was hoping there was something else I could take and she said no just NSAIDS. At that point I realized that she thought I was a drug addict. Well I started hurting worse and the pain became unbearable. That's when II was surprised to learn that they were discharging me. I told them that I couldn't get in that chair and that was why I called the ambulance in the first place. I was unable to walk! They said if I didn't they would get security to do it for me! I was appalled and very upset because I was in severe pain. Sitting upright in the chair was very very hard. So that's what happened. I didn't see a doctor. I was forced into the chair and waited for my husband to arrive.
I was crying buckets by that time, not only from the pain, but the way I was treated like a criminal! I do not recommend anyone going to that so-called hospital!
