Dr "z" I call him for b short was recommended to me by my son's kidney doc 20 years ago at least. He is a little harder to get to know, and sometimes understand BUT HE IS THE BEST PRIMARY DOC my and my husband could ever have had! His quick actions saved my life in 2018 when my colon ruptured and I was septic with infection and screaming in pain! The ER was busy as usual and they was little action on my behalf to SAVE MY LIFE He came running in and yelled about why I was not in surgery..HE got action and within 2 minutes I b was bring wheeled down the hall! After 2 more surgery my life was slowly coming b as back Thanks to my surgeon, dr Nguyen and all ICU staff.. Dr Nguyen also saved my husbands life when he had a Was bleeding out due to a hole in the stomach they could not see. I LOVE his quirky jokes, and Vietnamese accent He is an expert managing my BP, he CARES. If u want a fancy comfortable office it's not here..ONLY A SMART, RESPONSIVE. CARING DOC. LOVE HIM.

Dr. Nguyen has been my Primary Care Physician for over 20 years now. He is a fantastic physician and has a great sense of humor (once you get used to it, it's fun to play back). His staff has always been wonderful and caring. The staff has turned over since Hurricane Michael, but office manager (Carol) is still there. I have been through many health issues with Dr. Nguyen pulling me through each one. Highest recommendation. Recently changed my spouse to his primary care!!! Any negative reviews take with a grain of salt!!!!!

Dr. Nguyen has been my primary care physician for many years. He and his staff are professional, respectful, knowledgeable, and friendly. If I ever have an issue or concern, Dr. Nguyen and his staff are always very timely and caring in their response. Many of my family members and friends also use Dr. Nguyen. I highly recommend Dr. Nguyen if you are looking for a good doctor who truly cares about their patients. Thank you Dr. Nguyen and staff! I appreciate you!

I am a former patient that left because I never felt like Dr. Nguyen listened to my concerns. I was probably his youngest patient at 30, so maybe that had something to do with it! He was never friendly and always questioned me in a very judgemental manner! I decided to change my primary care physician after a few years of just going to clinics or seeing my mother and father in law ( both nurse practitioners). I called Dr. Nguyen's office and immediately recognized the voice of the lady on the phone! She is rude and takes the personality of the Dr. she works for! Anyway, I asked for my medical records to be sent to my new primary care physician and she refused! She said they were too old and they were upstairs (I guess upstairs is the forbidden land at Dr. Nguyen's office?!?!?!). I let her know that they were not time sensitive and I needed them so she said she would have her boss call me. I would not recommend using this Dr. especially if you are on the younger side of fifty! A little about myself, I am 35 year old white male. I am educated and work as a math teacher. I am very healthy and rarely need any sort of medical attention. I am just getting to the age where I would like to have a primary care physician and one that I can talk candidly would be nice!

Dr. Nguyen is aweaome, he cares about his patients, he always knows what is best for his patients, he has had a turnover after Hurricane Michael in staff,and there was a physician renting space next to his that is no longer there. Dr. Nguyen always knows what to do and is all about his patients and what is best for them, our family has been patients for over 20 years and appreciate his staff, and Dr. Nguyen, as they say, you cannot teach caring and they certainly do. Dr. Nguyen is brillant and he never gives up, if you are a drug seeker, this is not the office for you, if you truly need pain management. he will try his best to refer you for pain management. I rate her 100%+, you cannot find a better Internist in or out of town, if you need an ezcellent physiian, it is him, you or your insurance is paying for medical services, if you want to be your own doctor and are that qualified. you should not even be looking for a physian. I cannot speak highly enough, my brother use to drive from his home in Tallahassee to see him, I still have family that drives from Defuniak Springs to see him.
