Dr John Forcella is a fellowship-trained cardiologist who is board certified in cardiology, interventional cardiology and internal medicine. He specializes in coronary and peripheral vascular intervention and he is a native of Tarpon Springs. He earned his degree in Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida before completing his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Largo Medical Center in Largo, Florida. Following his residency at Largo Medical Center, he went on to complete two fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.

Dr. Forcella is an amazing doctor. All the staff at Advent Health were great pre op and post op. The staff and doctor put me at ease and were very informative and what was going on. Other facilities and doctors should follow the foot steps of Dr. Forcella and Advent Health.
Dr. Forcella is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to thoroughly read through the lengthy notes from my recent hospital stay. I truly felt like I was in good hands. I had to come back a second time for help with the heart monitor, and Sarah was so patient and kind--she never made me feel rushed and took the time to make sure I understood everything. Rachel, the front desk worker, spoke to my husband, a first responder, in a very unprofessional manner. He needed documentation for his job regarding a diagnosis. While he was trying to explain what he needed, Rachel snapped at him. When my husband asked to speak with a supervisor, she said "sure" and hung up the phone. I'm concerned about the level of service provided by your front desk staff, and I wouldn't want anyone to experience this kind of treatment again. Rachel's behavior was disrespectful and rude.
I love Dr. Forcella! I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that I owe him my life. Kind. Patient. Skilled. Count yourself blessed to have him, you're in good hands. God bless you, John!
Great care by AdventHealth Cardiology of Trinity! Front desk ladies were very kind, caring and helpful. The MA'S were wonderful as well and I'm so blessed to have Dr. Forcella as my cardio.
