Dr Stacy Mandras is board certified in cardiovascular disease, advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology. She also serves as the Medical Director of Pulmonary Hypertension. She joined AdventHealth in 2020 from New Orleans, where she served as the Director of Pulmonary Hypertension and the Program Director for the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship at Ochsner Medical Center.

I was a bit upset because I drove down for an appointment that started late instead of getting results from my previous hospital. My time is valuable and I prefer not to come to appointments causing me more money. I was approved to work but will not have a job if I am driving 3 hours away to sit in a hospital. I believe it could have been a telehealth appointment rather face to face.
I am a retired cardiologist, and I can tell you that this is one of the brightest, up to date, hard working, physicians that I have seen as a patient myself. She also has an excellent bed side manner, is a great listener and communicator, educates her patients and involves them in the decision making process, and has great judgment. In addition her staff is wonderful and very professional. I highly recommend her for the treatment of pulmonary hypertension and heart failure.
Dr Mandras and her team always give me exceptional care and continue to cheer me on through my PAH journey. I am so blessed to have Dr Mandras as my physician, I couldn't get through this without her!
