Dr. Shivanand Karkal is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in heart disease at the Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute. His expertise includes same-day consultation and cardiac testing; echocardiograms; carotid, arterial and venous Doppler testing; and treadmill and nuclear stress tests. He aims to be the best advocate for every patient. Dr. Karkal received his medical training at Seth G S Medical College-King Edward VII Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, India. His fellowship in clinical and interventional cardiology was performed at Cornell University Medical Center in New York. Doctor Karkal is easy to talk with. He talks to you on your level without all the technical $10 words so you understand exactly what's going on. He has a great bedside manner and is very polite and caring attitude. But I walked out of there I feel comfortable that was everything weather he or I morning knowledge about something that I had concerns with. I highly recommend him and you will not be disappointed. He deserves more than a five-star rating.
