At first, I was happy with her. But her bedside manners are not normal. I tried to explain to her that I had pain in my chest and she said you're not even pointing to your heart you might need a mammogram. I tried to explain it doesn't feel like it's my breast so she sat down and started looking at my report from an echo that I had done recently, and then stood up from the chair and said you need open heart surgery. I'm going to schedule you with a surgeon. I froze. I asked her if I was going to die or something and she said we're all gonna die. I understand that she is blunt and open-minded but at the same time sometimes you don't wanna feel a certain type of way. Her and her assistant had made me feel uncomfortable with certain things they said due to my previous history. You would think they would be more educated these days. She did recommend me to the best surgeon in the world, and I am appreciative for that. Dr. Accola is the best. But when she came to visit me, she said "I didn't think you were going to go through with this." I had to just stay calm and be nice but I changed my cardiologist because I will never go back to her. I'm sorry.

Dr. Guerrero is by far one of the finest doctors I have ever met. She takes the time to explain all the complicated parts of todays medicine in an easy to understand way. Her knowledge of heart health is second to none. She is direct in her approach which makes me pay attention to her advice, but she is also extremely compassionate about my health. I am not being dramatic when I state she has saved both me and my wife's lives.

The doctor was fine but the staff behavior is appalling . For several years I had to spend hours trying to get appointments then sat waiting in exam rooms while staff chatted outside the door. Finally I went in person when the scheduling woman said she had returned my calls. I talked with the office manager and showed her my phone where there were no such calls listed. She said she would check their phone records and call me. She never called. I changed doctors and lowered my blood pressure from no longer dealing with the staff at that office.

Dr. Guerrero is an exemplary cardiologist. She is extremely thorough and easily able to explain complex medical issues. She is well informed regarding the latest practices, medicines and trials. She expects her patients to follow her advice to ensure improvements. I do not question I am getting the best heart care from her. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

My daughter was treated by Dr. Guerrero and initially the Dr. seemed interested in helping resolve the issues my daughter was experiencing, but we quickly learned the true nature of Dr. Guerrero when she would continually interrupt us during the office visits and not allow us to finish describing the issues fully. The worst came during the tilt table test, when the Dr. came out to the waiting room and told me that my daughter was an extremely difficult patient, but would not provide me any reasoning behind her statement. She went on and on about how horrible my daughter was....I was floored and so were the other people sitting around the waiting room. People could not believe that a Dr. would come out and speak to someone in the manner that she did. It was apparent after going back to see my daughter in recovery that Dr. Guerrero was well known as having a HORRIBLE bedside manner and treating everyone pathetically. The nurses even provided some other doctors names for us to consider as they knew how horribly Dr. Guerrero treated her patients. STAY AWAY from this Doctor. Its unbelievable that a practice with so many other great cardiologists would continue to keep this Rotten apple on staff.
