Dr. Javier Acevedo is a cardiologist with the Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute specializing in electrophysiology. Board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology, Dr. Acevedo has expertise in complex procedures focusing on the heart's electrical system. He received his medical training at Ross University in Dominica. Dr. Acevedo completed residencies in internal medicine at Hospital de Ia Concepcion and Ramon Betances Hospital-Mayaguez Medical Center in Puerto Rico. He completed fellowships in primary care education in medicine and cardiovascular diseases at the VA Caribbean Healthcare System in Puerto Rico and in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Florida.
