I decided to visit a cardiologist due to some symptoms I was experiencing--symptoms that ultimately revealed a condition I had no idea existed, let alone that I was suffering from. It's called May-Thurner Syndrome, a condition where the left common iliac vein is compressed by the right common iliac artery, leading to reduced blood flow. Of all the symptoms associated with this syndrome, I personally experienced severe lower back pain upon waking up and shortness of breath, similar to a yawn that wouldn't fully happen--incredibly frustrating and uncomfortable. My leg would also swell, especially around the ankle, and just below my knee, I developed a superficial varicose vein (since I was very young but never gave it the attention it deserved, and I am 47 now). I want to encourage anyone experiencing persistent lower back pain upon waking to consider seeing a cardiologist. That type of pain is often attributed to many other causes, but rarely to vein-related issues. Who would've thought? As for my experience with Dr. Pal's office, it has been exceptional from day one. Fortunately for me, most of the staff speaks Spanish, which has allowed me to fully understand and explore the topics discussed during my visits. From the very first appointment, they not only took my concerns seriously but also scheduled my follow-up visits and necessary tests with a level of urgency I hadn't seen at any other medical office. The front desk team has also been consistently diligent. Every time my appointments are booked, they provide a detailed document outlining the schedule and associated costs, which helps me plan ahead financially. I'm genuinely glad I chose to visit this office and would highly recommend it to anyone who's not just looking to treat their condition but also to understand it. Despite his busy schedule, Dr. Pal takes the time to explain everything in detail, which truly sets this practice apart.

DO BETTER DR. PAL....
My first consultation with Dr. Ashish Pal was promising. HOWEVER, my experience with his office staff completely changed my opinion of the practice. Specifically, a younger Indian woman at the front desk in the Davenport location was incredibly rude and disrespectful, which ultimately led me to decide not to return. Keep in mind he also has a practice in Orlando- DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.
As someone who was in the process of referring five family members and encouraging colleagues to visit this practice, I was shocked by the level of unprofessionalism and lack of respect I received. Front desk staff are the first point of contact for patients and should be thorough, kind, and informative--not dismissive and rude.
What was even more disappointing was the lack of accountability from Dr. Pal himself. Instead of addressing the issue or attempting to resolve my concerns, it felt like the behavior of his staff was enabled. This lack of follow-up and professionalism from a business owner and healthcare provider is unacceptable. Clients don't stop going to a practice for no reason.
I regret not reading the reviews before my visit. For those looking for quality care and respectful service, I strongly recommend Heart & Vascular of Clermont. Even with limited reviews, I am confident they provide far superior care and professionalism!

Attention to Dr. Ashish Pal.
If I could give your staff a negative star will be amazing. The supposedly manager at your office, she is horrible , this women has no matters. I have been in the medical field many years and never experienced this horrible manners with anyone. Im trying to explained to her my situation and she got all upset and hang up the phone.

After being admitted by AdventHealth ER and discharged even with peak heart rates, Dr.Pal's team got me in IMMEDIATELY . My GP got me on a beta blocker medication to ease my pain while I figure out what's going on with my body that has helped me make it to this doctor. Dr.Pal is extremely knowledgeable and made everything easy to understand. Dr.Pal has me on the right track and I think his services are very affordable given how experienced and educated he is! Thank you Dr.Pal and Dr.Pal's office! You guys have finally made me feel cared for and have never dismissed how I felt and labeled it as anxiety (which happened frequently in the emergency room). Sure Dr.Pal may come off as a bit stern, but it is because he knows what he is doing and talking about. He has tests/machines here that other offices do NOT have to diagnose! Trust the process and trust this doctor. He will have you feeling better and doesn't wait weeks to schedule out next appointments! 10/10. Thank you all, once again.

They make my blood pressure rise, They cancel my appointment for a test throwing off my follow-up appointment. Try to reschedule the person on the phone was not helpful. I can not get intouch to speak with anyone in the Mills Ave location. Just awful service for a cardiologist office.
