Dr. David Fries is a board-certified, non-invasive cardiologist at UCF Health specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of all forms of cardiovascular disease. He is also board-certified in echocardiography and trained in interpreting multiple non-invasive imaging modalities, including stress testing, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and arrhythmia monitoring.

Dr. Fries not only takes time to listen to and examine your concerns, he is very knowledgeable and truly cares. I had to be cleared on 2 separate occasions for procedures, most recently a surgery for a ruptured Achilles, and he and his staff quickly accommodated with a clearance letter. It's sad that many places will drag their feet on something like this or even charge their patients. Dr. Fries did neither. So thankful!
Prior to my appointment with Dr. Fries I was feeling discouraged, overwhelmed, and disheartened after 2+ years of chasing POTS/Dysautonima. At my appointment Dr. Fries actually took the time to listen to me, ask questions about my symptoms, daily life, & quality of life, look at the tests and studies I've had, and discuss advice I've had from other doctors. This has not been my experience at all and I've gone from doctor to doctor without a plan and no hope that things will get better. I know that working with Dr. Fries is going to be my best avenue to manage and overcome many of the issues I have related to POTS. I feel so fortunate that he has become my doctor today and I would recommend him for anyone, especially if you have POTS.
Dr. Fries is amazing. I felt so understood and seen during my appointment for POTS. It was the least rushed doctors appointment I've ever had! He spent so much time with me and they went through everything so thoroughly. So grateful to have found him. Thank you!!!
