About Dr. David Briston, MD
Dr. David Briston is a board-certified cardiologist at Orlando Health Children's Heart Institute. He cares for patients with congenital heart defects. Dr. Briston earned a bachelor's degree at Washington University in St. Louis, a master's degree at Wayne State University and a medical degree from West Virginia University. He completed residencies in pediatric internal medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital and Holtz Children's Hospital. Dr. Briston also completed fellowships in pediatric cardiology at The Children's Hospital at Montefiore and in adult congenital cardiology at Nationwide Children's Hospital and The Ohio State University School of Medicine. He is fluent in English and Spanish.

My husband is seen by Dr. Briston, and we are so thankful to have him! Every appointment is informative, my husband says that it feels like an Anatomy and Physiology class. We do leave with more of an understanding about his conditon, every time we visit. We're thankful and we know that Dr. Briston is the best in Florida.
