I went to this office sometime ago and had the worst experience with the PA. She told me that nothing was wrong with my heart, she was very rude and crass. I asked her why she was ordering test if she feels nothing is wrong. My primary doctor referred me to her, I asked her was that the reason she was ordering the test? I quietly left and cancelled my testing she ordered the next day. She called me not even ten minutes later asking me why I cancelled. She already knew why. I went to another cardiologist and low and behold I am on medication for a heart issue. Maybe check your ego and focus on patient care and as for Dr. Gros, you shouldn't cosign on this type of behavior. She was unprofessional and Dr. Gros treated me the same way. I honestly feel like I was dismissed and treated with bias because I am a person of color. I'm glad I got a second opinion.

Doctor Bernard saw me after I had post partum hypertension with my daughter last year. He was knowledgeable, honest, kind. He and the other nurses and staff at both locations were sweet and tried to help ease my anxiety.

Dr. Gros literally saved my life. After going to another Cardiologist for months and not finding anything wrong, my PCP thought it was a pulmonary issue. After a year of pulmonary tests all negative, my PCP sent me to Dr. Gros for a 2nd opinion. After a Stress test, he recommended I go for a Heart Cath. I did and they found 80% blockage in my Left Circumflex Artery, (widow maker). A Stent was installed and viola, chest pain gone.

After two recent visits to the ER and recommendations to see a cardiologist, I wish to express my gratitude for having Dr. Gros and his team care for my health issues. Dr. Gros has been informative, supportive, and friendly as I go through the processes of diagnosis, treatments, and follow-ups. Dr. Gros and his team take the time to answer questions and provide guidance that I can understand. It is comforting to know that I am in the hands of these outstanding and dedicated health professionals.

Dr. Gros is leaps and bounds over any other cardiologist I have seen. He is extremely thorough and I can see that he has all of my records and tests printed out and that he actually reviews them. Dr. Gros seamlessly switches between looking at the big picture (how all of my issues interact) and specific issues. He is up to date on new treatments and medications. He lives up to his great reputation and I can see why my hematologist and pulmonologist love him and have his number in their cellphones. Dr. Gros has a calm demeanor and listens to everyone of my questions and concerns and does not leave the room until he has explained everything in detail and come up with a game plan. When Dr. Gros says he is going to order a test or medication he actually does it and remembers what he has said he will do which is one less thing for me to worry about having to do. I am beyond confident in his and his medical assistant Randi's ability to manage my medical issues and feel like he and the other doctors and nurse practitioners at UCF HEALTH have been Godsends.
