Ten stars! Truly a compassionate and caring Cardiologist! We travel 3 hours to see Dr Kakavand. It has been a very long road finding diagnostics and answers. My son was even sent home from previous hospital stay on palliative care. His primary sent him to Neumors Orlando. When my son left his initial visit with Dr Kakavand he became very teary eyed and said he was so relieved to find a Dr who listened to him and made him felt heard!!! 10 out of 10 recommend
Dr K, is great he always takes the side of Caio. My daughter is a teenager now and she had her own questions and he was patient and kind and answered her questions in a way she would understand <3
Dr. Kakavand is very patient with all of my many (and repetitive!) questions! He is compassionate and very, very knowledgeable. He is a team player with the family in trying to find solutions to help ease the child's symptoms and discomfort. He listens and is a very positive and encouraging doctor. Very grateful that we were referred to Dr. Kakavand!
Dr. Kakovand has been my cardiologist for 7+ years. He was the first and only doctor to figure out my complex heart problems and has treated me like one of his own kids since day 1. He has supported me from every low and high through the years and has drastically changed my quality of life. He is extremely knowledgeable on POTS, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. Couldn't recommend him more.
My daughter struggled for years, starting in 6th grade. We were referred to Kakavand her 9th grade year and finally had a diagnosis. He discovered she had POTS, which few doctors understand. He and his team were amazing and I was grateful to have found him.
