About Dr. Mulugeta Fissha, MD, FACC
Dr Fissha is an internationally trained interventional cardiologist who has been practicing for more than two decades. He holds board certifications in interventional, adult, and nuclear cardiology as well as in echocardiography, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, and peripheral vascular disease. His outstanding credentials include dual fellowships in general and interventional cardiology served at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and the Medical College of Georgia, respectively. Prior to his advanced subspecialty training, he was an award-winning internal medicine resident at Johns Hopkins University/Sinai Hospital in Baltimore.

This was my first time visiting Dr Fissha's office. Everything was great, starting with getting checked in - all 3 women in the front office were welcoming, knowledgeable, efficient etc. Dr Fissha is really professional, but in a friendly manner - he listens, he explains everything in detail. He just seems really in tune with you, and doesn't seem to be rushing through trying to get to his next patient. I look forward to our next meeting in September.
