Dr. Karuna Ahuja is a wonderful pulmonologist and person. She should be teaching her skillful practice of medicine at a medical school! She is very thorough, taking her time to get an accurate patient history and she is very detailed when analyzing test results. Dr. Ahuja even noted that some of my lab results (outside of her specialty) were out of range, and her advice improved my overall health. She treats the whole patient. I respect that she dictates her clinical notes while she is with you in the exam room, which ensures an accurate medical record and patient comprehension. She takes time to listen and answer questions, a trait that is sadly lacking in many physicians. I do not give five-star ratings to many physicians, but she has earned them. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking pulmonary care!

I requested a 2nd opinion with Dr Karuna Ahuja for a recent diagnosis of COPD. Dr Ahuja spent two hours going over my medical history and gave me a thorough treatment plan for additional testing and a change in medication. Dr. Ahuja is the most compassionate, caring doctor I've ever had the privilege of meeting. She always goes above and beyond for her patients. If it wasn't because she believed me when no other doctors would because what I had was very hard to diagnose I don't know if I would be here now "alive"! I owe this woman my life.
