About Dr. Edward Santoian, MD, PhD, FACC, FSCAI
Edward Santoian, MD joined the staff at AdventHealth Ocala in January 2005. Prior to coming to Ocala, he was a partner of the Orlando Heart Center, where he had a busy interventional cardiology practice. Dr Santoian graduated cum laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University with degrees in biology and chemistry. He then went to Georgetown University School of Medicine where he completed his MD and also earned his PhD, in cardiovascular physiology. He remained at Georgetown for his internship, as well as his residency and fellowship in cardiology. Dr Santoian then completed his training with a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Emory University's world-renowned center of interventional cardiology.

I had a medical procedure that I was worried about. The whole staff was wonderful. I will use Dr Santoian if needed again. He explained the whole procedure before the procedure which greatly reduced my anxiety. Dr Santoian and the nursing staff were absolutely wonderful.
