I saw Dr. Crespo back in August of 2021 for an evaluation due to some dysautonomic symptoms. While I found him friendly and charismatic, I didn't particularly feel listened to as he tested me for hypertension when my symptoms were more aligned with hypotension and I was there for a POTS eval. During our follow up after an echocardiogram and some imaging, he deemed me fine and in good health. The issue is, while waiting for that test (standing in the hallway because of COVID safety precautions), I nearly passed out because of a drop in blood pressure. I told the tech who was doing my testing how I felt, but it took about 30 minutes between then and when the test was done, during which time I was laying down and my blood pressure equalized. Of course, this would show there was nothing wrong. The vest test results did show some dysautonomic activity, but he said it wasn't quite enough to be categorized as POTS. I didn't return to Dr. Crespo after the follow up to review my results, but I would learn (over a year later) that my dysautonomia symptoms were caused by Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome caused by mold exposure. TL;DR: Probably a fine doctor, just missed the mark with me.
