Kept waiting for a long time because if an emergency. But he is very personable and was genuinely interested in my retinal issue. I felt confident that I received an excellent care and advice. Would highly recommend. There was no helping the wait, so I decided to not get upset. If you were the one with the emergency you would appreciate being moved to the front on the line.

On April 2021, I was diagnosed with a macular hole on my left eye by my ophthalmologist; quickly I had to schedule an ppt. with a specialist. After seen three macula specialist, I decided to stay with Dr. Sulaiman Alhumaid. He's warm hearted, extremely professional with good sense of humor--all I expect from a doctor, but very rare on a specialist/surgeon. Dealing with your eyes is terrifying, but he made me feel comfortable and safe. He took his time to explain in details all my options, never rushed me out of his office and answer every question and concerns I had. For my particular case, he recommended to wait before going through surgery, after several visits and close follow-up, my macular hole is almost fully closed. We avoided surgery and a dreadful recovery. Today, I still follow up with him and if he every recommends surgery, I know for a fact I would really need it and I know he would take great care of me. I'm glad I chose Dr. Sulaiman Alhumaid ad my doctor and I recommend him to anyone with macula/retina issues.
