Oladele A. Fabunmi, MD

I had been in atrial flutter for much of the year when I was referred to Dr Fabunmi. She reviewed my past heart surgery and recommended an ablation which she performed. The technical details are beyond my description but it was successful and she did additional clean up work on my previous MAZE procedure. She is friendly and skilled, and I was lucky to have her perform this surgery.

What a Sweet Dr! I had alot of questions and concerns about removing my loop recorder. She was very thorough before agreeing to remove it to make sure nothing was missed! She cared about what if felt and technically she is very knowledgeable! She will be removing my implant in 2 weeks.

This was my first visit with this Dr. She apologized for seeing me 50 minutes late. She then proceeded in telling about the options available to me for my Afib. She thoroughly explained the reasons for taking me off the medication prescribed due to the severe nature of the side effects. Then she spent time describing the other medical procedures that could reduce Afib. After telling me all that and saying no pressure to decide that moment, I understood why the tardiness in seeing me. She is a very caring physician who wants the best for her patients. Thanks. It is rare to have a physician spend that amount of time with a patient these days. I know that no matter which decision I make I will be in good hands medically.

Dr Fabunmi was patient, kind and listened to my concerns. She allayed my fears and worked with me to decide the way forward. She described options in detail, and discussed any risks realistically. I thoroughly trust her for caring for my heart. I was so relieved!
