I was referred to Dr. Goode's office because I needed a Cardiologist in order to be approved for a surgery. Dr. Goode was very thorough and professional. He took his time during my appointment and was very efficient with getting his report to my surgeon and PCP. He has been my Cardiologist ever since and I'm very please with his care.
During my appointment with Dr. Goode this week he neglected to listen to my heart and seemed extremely distracted. When I sneaked a peek at his laptop, he wasn't even reading my chart. I fear he may have been having another 'off' day. We all have them at times, however, I didn't receive a complete heart exam and hope this isn't his usual manner with other patients. This is my third and final unsatisfactory experience with this doctor. Prior to that he took months to provide information on my Holter use, despite repeated attempts from both myself and my primary care provider to get a response from him, which caused undue stress and anxiety...emotions I would expect a cardiologist would definitely NOT wish to cause their patient. In my first appointment, he was clearly indifferent to my and my primary care provider's concerns regarding my heart abnormalities, he seemed to have other things on his mind, and seemed stuck to his chair until I asked him if he planned to check my heart with his stethoscope before the end of the appointment. He is definitely not my choice for a cardiologist.

My experience with Dr.Goode has been with no problems. He listens and answers any questions I may have, also he doesn't rush you.
