I had a heart monitor recording my activity for two weeks, and during that time the assistant Marcel Cardero was available 24/7 to ensure I stayed connected to the device. He was very professional and attentive throughout the process. Excellent service overall. I highly recommend Dr. Abella Heart office.

My experience with this doctor has been extremely disappointing and almost killed me! As a new patient, for the entire month of April and May 2025 they had me do a bunch of tests. All my medications from my primary doctor were changed and how ironic that one of those new medications almost killed me. I was on vacation with my family for memorial weekend and had to call the rescue to take me to the nearest hospital because my heart pressure dropped, sweating and I was incoherent. Thank God there was a nurse at Cracker Barrel to assist me. I thought I was going to die. At the hospital I was told that medication has had serious side effects; Carvedilol 25mg. I called them Tuesday morning (by the way, I had the hospital send him all my paperwork) they did not call me back until 2 weeks later to give me an appointment to see him. When I went back, I was told that I had to do more testing to figure out what happened and that my insurance was not covering that specific test. They waited until I got to the appointment to tell me this and then charged me $70 for the copayment. I denied doing the test because I just had it with this doctor for milking CIGNA my insurance company. "NO RESPECT at all" They only think about how to get more money from your insurance. Now the best part, I received a certified letter in the mail giving me 2 weeks to find another cardiologist because he was not going to see me anymore. HOW RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! They unregistered me from the Healow app so now I cannot even go back to see all my appointments and results. I will be seeking an attorney for guidance. THIS ABELLA HEART OFFICE IS MONEY MAKING. SHAME ON YOU DR. MANUEL ABELLA, remember you took an oath. Karma will come back to bite you...

What a fabulous doctor and experience! I have never had such a thorough intake! He was kind and knowledgeable as was his entire staff. Truly a remarkable physician! Thank you Dr. Abella!
