I heard sincere happiness in Dr. McGinn's voice upon learning I did not need pain medication before leaving the hospital following my triple bypass. That is when I knew I found the right thoracic surgeon.

Dr Mcginn did mutiple bypass surgery on me in Oct 2024. All went well except I had a lump near my i incision that caused me pain. It has been 7 months and after mutiple tests I found that the cause was a wire that wrapped my ribs together caused calcification. I made mutiple calls to Dr Mcginns Office to explain why those happened. I have yet to get a call back. Follow up is key to and business and I'm disappointed in Dr Mcginns lack of concern After surgery. That's not the way to treat patients.

Best staff I have ver encountered. They went out of their way to help at all times and always with a positive attitude. Their sense of urgency and professionalism are incomparable.

My husband had a surgery January 16, 2025 performed by Dr McGuinn Jr and we are blessed for the doctor... from the initial visit leading to the day of the surgery my husband and I trusted Dr McGuinn Jr and I want to thank you Dr McGuinn Jr and your entire staff for taking care of my husband and for keeping him safe. I had a heart bypass surgery procedure by Dr. McGinn in Miami FL February 16, 2023. This double bypass was done using McGinns own technique for a minimally invasive procedure. Which means he did not saw open my breastbone, or stop my heart and put me on a heart/lung machine during the procedure. I recovered very fast, so quickly it even surprised me...I was driving my car within 4 days of returning from the hospital...and back at work that same day. My healing has been uneventful, no bleeding, no infections, and very little pain at all. I could have had the old-fashioned bypass by any number of surgeons here Florida, but wanted to avoid the longer and more painful recovery. I can recommend Dr. McGinn without reservation. He has done thousands of these procedures...I regard him as a pioneer in the field. If you are at all able to get to Florida, this is the choice I woudl make.
