Dr. Tomas Villanueva, D.O.

Dr Tomas is the best. He is second to none. I have 8 implants all done at the same time and he was magnificent. No issues afterwards and he had to build up my bones on the mouth to do the implants. In the United States they told me to forget it. Too costly and a difficult surgery to do. He was done in a few hours and my teeth look great.

I hate to give such a low score because Dr. Villanueva himself was so great. But this is the second time I've been called to reschedule an appointment with 3 days anticipation. I made arrangements to have enough medication for my husband through the new rescheduled date (original appointment was for August 24, they called me around 3 days before and pushed it out to September 14) I now get a call 3 days before this appointment to tell me it once again needs to be rescheduled and the next Saturday appointment available wouldn't be until mid October. The primary reason behind my selecting Dr. Villanueva was being told that he works EVERY Saturday. I scramble to find a doctor that can see him this Saturday and then had to fight for them to provide me with a medical records request because the rep who was assisting me was completely unfamiliar with her own employers procedures for transferring records. It's unfortunate that there are so many scheduling hurdles because he really did seem very knowledgeable and had fantastic bedside manner, but the scheduling issues are just far too recurrent and the staff though helpful don't seem to have gotten the best training.
