Dr. Madeleen M. Mas, MD

We love Dr Mas, she has been with my son since he was born and is he now 18. She truly loves her patients and is definitely a gift from GOD we are so blessed to have her. Dr Mas is Family to us not just our doctor.

I was referred to Dr. Mas by my MFM office after they did a shoddy job with my fetal echo. I was a nervous mess ahead of this apt, bracing for bad news, the second I walked in to their office I was greeted by the kindest front desk staff. Then my exceptional experience continued when I met Oscar, the ultrasound tech, who is also the kindest and most experienced professional. And lastly, Dr. Mas who is an angel. Hopefully you never have to see a specialist of this kind for your babies, but if you do, you are the BEST hands with Dr. Mas and her team. If you have to wait, please have patience as they give everyone the time and attention they deserve. 10/10 experience.

I was charged $3500 for a single visit - is that pricey? I'm genuinely terrified considering how costly and messed up our healthcare system is. I felt almost coerced by a provider to visit here for a pregnancy scan, which I found unnecessary. It seems incredibly crazy to pay almost $4000 for a single scan when you can deliver three babies at a premium hospital elsewhere. God forbid Miami and these providers. I regret my decision. They didn't clearly discuss the billing process. The bill was sent to me 4 months later. They messed up by not adding the insurance info, and still, despite all this, $4000. God save this healthcare system - it's sad that this is the case with Miami.

I had a lovely experience. I went for a fetal echo cardiograph. I have to say the ultrasound tech Oscar was awesome. Explained everything to me, what things will show up and what number are suppose to be. Dr. Mas came in a little later. Again, very nice. Excellent bedside manner. I feel like some doctors have lost that. Not Dr. Mas, she went over all the pictures. so far everything looks good. I need to come back for one more visit before I have my son. I recommend this office to everyone.

Even though the wait time is indeed considerably long...this office is not a factory setting of internal medicine for caring for kids with simple colds where you have basic symptoms and can run through patients like a deli line. Each child and/or expecting mother has different "difficult" symptoms/issues. When Dr. Mas does walk into your room, you are greeted with incredible warmness and care. She explains each Echo, EKG, i.e any testing performed and does so very thoroughly(hence delay in waiting room). I trust Dr. Mas and I would sacrifice any day to have her see my child.
