Dr. John S. Hoyes, MD

This is a very efficient and attentive practice. I have been a patient for 2 years and I am very satisfied. I am a healthy individual, but the office is always available if I am in need of acute care. The receptionist is cordial and accommodates to the severity of the visit. As a pharmacist, I can vouch that Dr. Hoyes is a knowledgeable physician who is up to date on the latest medical guidelines.

If you care about you or your loved ones health you really should find another doctor. He's very BASIC, should be working at an urgent care. Yes, he has good bedside manner. However, his lack of knowledge put my mother in the hospital after telling her she should get off the medication a reputable doctor put her on to avoid the infections she now has. Know your patients history, and most importantly know what you're talking about before making such a TERRIBLE PROFESSIONAL OPINION.

Dr Hoyes is the best general practitioner I have ever been to. He is very knowledgeable and has great bed side manners. He is never rushed, educates his patient, and takes the time to explain health issues. I strongly recommend this physician to anyone.

Don't go there unless you want to deal with the staff, particularly the lady at the front desk. She believes she knows more than the nurses and actual doctor, speaking for him without his consent. Not professional by any means and quite frustrating not being able to get a message to the doctor when it really counts. Dr. Hoyes once you get passed the lady, is very personable and professional but not as knowledgeable as one would hope.

The lady answering the front desk phone is the most UNPROFESSIONAL person I have ever spoke to answering a doctors line. She claims to be an RN, has no medical knowledge and hangs up on people when they are inquiring about appointments. I have heard great things about the doctor, but how could he have staff like this working for him if he is so great?! I will be finding another doctor.
