He listens and is also very kind. He sized me up in two minutes and we are approaching my back in a conservative way that I think will work. He offered pain medication which I declined but also physical therapy and then several other action steps that he explained in detail. Perfect experience.
This was my first visit to Dr Armando Alvarez Brain and Spine clinic at Baptist Hospital. The office is a fast-paced clinic, with very efficient staff. I found the staff to be very kind and courteous. Dr. Alvarez has a warm and receptive bed manner. Dr. Alvarez did a complete and very comprehensive review of my medical records. Dr. Alvarez also took time to listen toy medical concerns and gave me a prescription for some medicine and offered me hope to help ease my pain. Furthermore, Dr Alvarez explained to me that if I did not feel better within 3 months to schedule a follow-up appointment and he would go over my symptoms and medications and see how else to help me to feel better. I highly recommend the Brain and spine clinic at Baptist Hospital, Dr.Armando Alvarez and his staff and the amazing medical care he gives all of his his patients.
Dr. Alvarez strives on not making his patients wait. I'm glad he's trying to make a difference as this is a problem in the health field. I was quickly brought to an exam room within two minutes of arriving. He took his time listening to my history with my Acute situation. Reviewed my images and reports. He come up with a plan for me that I felt confident and comfortable with. Great bedside manners! Thank you Dr. Alvarez I definitely would recommend you to any of my friends and family!
I really appreciated how thorough Dr. Alvarez was during my appointment. Many times with doctors you I feel rushed or they seem very distracted, not hearing anything I say. However, in this visit, Dr Alvarez was attentive and answered each question without making me feel like a bother. It was a good, productive visit. Additionally, the wait was very short and the front desk were very kind.
