I had a great experience with Dr. Alan Polackwich and his surgical coordinator, Cindy Tenorio. From start to finish, the process was smooth and reassuring. Dr. Polackwich did an excellent job with the surgery, and I am very happy with the results. Cindy Tenorio was incredibly professional, organized, and helpful throughout the entire process. She was always responsive, answered all of my questions, and made sure everything was clearly explained, which made the experience much less stressful. I highly recommend Dr. Polackwich and his team to anyone considering surgery.

My experience at Mt Sinai, Miami Beach was not great. It almost seemed like they want to delay everything, for some reason. I had to use the restroom and was not given a call button which was part of the problem. I waved my nurse over because i had no way to call anyone. She said she would be back in 5. She came back with an EKG cart about 35 minutes later, so I asked if I could use the restroom. When I came back, she was gone. It took me literally 30 seconds. Then about 35 minutes later, a guy came by and took my EKG, which took about 5 minutes. later, I was wheeled to the room for an MRI where I had to wait more than an hour. During my wait, a doctor came in and told me I would have to be admitted for the last test, an echocardiogram, and my wait could be "a few days". They were trying to bill my insurance for what could have been a 3-day stay. By then, I was feeling ok, but could not stay because the doctor told me they did not have a medication I needed. but it turns out the doctor was not telling the truth. i could have made an outpatient appointment and probably been taken right in because that is what the 5 people taken ahead of me in the MRI waiting room did. I did not want to stay because the hospital did not carry a medication I needed.

Unfortunately, I had to go into the ER at Mount Sinai Medical Center on Miami Beach. I had the pleasure of being seen by Dr. Antoinette Golden. She was absolutely wonderful. She exercise patience with me and listened carefully to my issues. The facility was very clean and comfortable. I'm glad that Dr. Golden was assigned to me. I would definitely recommend her.

I arrived at the office in extreme pain. I was given needed injections and escorted to X-Rays by Dr. Merlino's office manager, Grace. Dr. Merlino also called in new medication . By the time I left I was already experiencing some relief of the pain due to the injections. I have been a patient of Dr. Merlino's since the 1990's. I can't imagine a better doctor! He's a brilliant diagnostician, very intuitive and caring. His office staff is wonderful. You never have to worry about who will take your call. Grace and Janet have been with Dr. Merlino for many years. They take very good care of us. I am grateful!

My overall experience was excellent, from Arrival to the ED to test time, results, nurse, doctor...the care was exceptional. ED bed was assigned right away, so we didn't have to wait in pain at the lobby. Pain medication given on time. The nurse was knowledgeable, compassionate and friendly which helped with the anxiety. The doctor was professional and attentive, she took her time explaining the CT scan results, made sure she answered all our questions. CT transport team was caring and empathetic. The entire experience exceeded our expectations. Thank you all so much for your professionalism and compassionate care.
