Dr. Joseph Zebede, MD

Dr. Zebede is the absolute best. The moment he walks into the patient room, he brings with him a humble confidence and sense of calm. He is very thorough with his explanations and takes his time to ensure that you understand what is going on - which is so helpful since we can't necessarily "see" what's happening from the outside! Thankful to have found him back in 2016. Appreciate you and so thankful for your wisdom and care Dr. Zebede!

Since the first phone call from Johana, one of the "Procedures Coordinators" of Dr. Zebede's office, I felt like the most important patient in the world. After sitting in the waiting area for a while as I completing my paperwork, I noticed that everyone in that office treats every single patient the same. At the end of my appointment, and after being seen by the PA (sorry, I can't remember her name) and by Dr. Zebede, I was convinced that I had made the best choice. Thank you very much to the whole staff, and keep up the outstanding work.

18 February 2014 Dear Dr. Zebede, Over 11 years ago I made an unexpected acquaintance with you at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach, when I was here on a business trip and referred to you for sudden onset heart problems. You performed some investigatory procedures and then installed a defibrillator in my chest. I find myself now in Florida again on a business trip and had occasion to speak with Josie V., who just recently was your patient for some heart problems of her own resulting in your installing a pacemaker for her. We compared notes. She had worked for many years managing a Cardiologist's Office and for 15 years I had a severe case of Myasthenia Gravis. We are both well acquainted with healthcare delivery in many settings and trying circumstances. For both of us the initial consultation with you and the experiences in the operating room set us completely at ease and we are convinced that we could not have had a better advocate for us at the end of the scalpel anywhere else. I am especially pleased at the care you took in selection of the device and leads to use. 10 years from now Josie will as well. We both laughed at your insistent instructions regarding care of the incision site - you clearly take ownership of your work, even if we walk with it out your practice door and forever afterwards carry it on our person. We like that. We don't take any of your attention for granted, and clearly we remember. Dr. Zebede's patience in treating complex cardiac arrhythmias like mine is infinite. After going to two previous electrophysiologists, finding Dr. Z. has been a blessing. Extremely professional, competent and caring. Highly recommended.

Very unprofessional. He did not agree with the reason my heart was acting abnormal and criticized me as well as my primary doctor. Was very degrading and shouted my medical concerns aloud in the office to his staff without regard for my privacy. Would not recommend....was flirting with his PA during my stress test. Crazy.
