Mark J. Mendolla, MD

Zinj makes my doctor appt. pleasant. He takes you back for BP, current medications you are on, etc, getting you ready to see Dr. Mendolla. Very upbeat, friendly, fun and pleasant. Dr Mendolla is great too. Very direct and a good commumicator which is what I like.

This man has a god complex, please don't believe his bio and how he cares about the patient first. My neighbor referred me to him who is elderly and told me how he loves him, when I told this Dr. about him, he said "I see so many people I can't remember everyone" wow! My appt was at 9am, I was there at 845am as instructed and in my car at 9:02am to go home, he is an absolute joke. Ashamed he says he is from Jersey because I am from New Jersey and he certainly doesn't act like he has any business being a regular citizen let alone a MD or Cardiologist, his staff is even worse!

I had an appointment scheduled for over a month as a new patient to be evaluated. I get a phone call at 4:30pm from the rudest office staff yelling at me saying where are your record's Dr. Mendolla will not see you without them. Tried to explain to her they are on my phone. She said you can't use that and I am canceling your appointment. In what world is a doctor refusing to see a patient that he still has to evaluate that's what he went to school for. It's called get a release if information and history from the patient who is seeking service. If she/he wanted record's you should have done it in advance. It's not like you can get a same day appointment or take time off of work like that. I would not recommend this Dr. at all, poor customer service

Dr Mendolla was the doctor for my parents before they were placed in a nursing home. He was always pleasant and spoke to them as well as me. Many doctors ignore the elderly patient and only speak to the caregiver or adult child. He is very fast, never having to wait more than five to ten minutes in his office. Unfortunately, I am now a patient of his due to heart issues. He gives me the same great service he had given my parents and oftentimes asks about them. He's a famous tv star with his silly commercial for Melbourne Terrace. I tease him about that all the time.

I've been a patient of dr. Mendolla for seven or eight years now. In that entire time I don't think I've ever waited more than 10 minutes in his office for an appointment. I like his no-nonsense, tell it like it is approach. Can't imagine having to get another cardiologist. He is one hard-working doctor. Give the man more time off please.
