Kelsey was the Fabulous tech who did my echocardiogram. She was extremely patient with a very anxious handicapped old lady! Kelsey made several accommodations, extra pillows, raising the table for my comfort, and talking me through the process with kindness and good humor. I have hade these done at other facilities and Kelsey is by far the most professional, helpful and reassuring I have encountered. I will Only come to this facility and ask for Kelsey for this test in the future.

I tell you what, the other many reviews about the staff not answering the phone or calling back are spot on. Surely they aren't so busy as to completely ghost their patients but that is what happens. Either use their online portal to communicate or show up in person. Once seen though, things generally go well. My encounters with the doctors and nurses were good.

Health First controls the physicians they can't be doctors or have any control over there staff. It has gotten out of hand with the way Health First controls things. I had a MRI done for my back, that I payed out of pocket for, because it was going to take 2 weeks for an authorization. I was in to much pain to wait and had also payed to go to Urgent Care already. I have called my primary physician office 6 times for results and a referral to an Orthopedic. The staff keeps saying they will give the nurse the message. Ive had 4 previous back surgeries. You just can't get quality time with your physician or call backs. I've even tired there my chart program (what a joke). Health First needs to wake up people life is in there hands. Its not the physicians problem!

I am very unhappy with my recent experience in the neurology department. I have been seeing a physician there for over 20 years without any problems. Because he retired I am seeing another neurologist at health first & my problem is not with him, but with his medical assistant. She was not the most pleasant but I was OK with that. But what I'm not OK with is that she doesn't seem to understand my dosages of a medication. When I received my prescription from Walgreens, it was totally wrong & only 15 days worth. I called to correct the problem and no one called me back. I called the next day and talked to the medical assistant, who was very difficult and kept telling me it was the doctors policy to give me only 30 days worth, even though I have been receiving 90 days since I can remember. There was no attempt to apologize or try to fix the situation. I have to say I have never met a Medical assistant as unpleasant and unhelpful as this one.
