I was introduced to Dr. Palanco during my hospital stay for chest pain. The tests and medications he prescribed identified my issue and resolved my problem allowing me to be discharged. He was thorough and took the time to discuss a plan for me. He made it possible for me to make an appointment with his office for a two week follow up. I highly recommend him. I am thankful for his knowledge and for him accepting me as a new patient.

Dr. Polanco is extraordinary, and so is his staff. He figured out in 3 months what 14 other doctors/specialists couldn't figure out in 4 years or didn't bother to listen to my concerns, brushed them off or told me I was a hypochondriac or had anxiety. He not only listened to my concerns, he immediately validated them and ordered all the bloodwork/testing he could as well as had all of my previous records sent over to review. All 400 pages of them! He is knowledgeable about Dysautonomia and autonomic dysfunction, and after a Tilt Table Test, I finally received my official diagnosis for POTS. He is a very caring, thorough, compassionate, and understanding physician, and I'd recommend him to anyone. His staff is so kind and put me at ease when I was anxious about the Tilt Table Test. Thank you so much for helping me finally get answers. Now that I'm in a different state, I've found another doctor knowledgeable about Dysautonomia and continuing where I left off with Dr. Polanco. If you want a Doctor that cares about you ; analyzes everything to be certain it is right for you and follows up to be sure you are getting the results he expected, he is your guy. Also, follow his instructions he was the first Doctor to insist that I go to a sleep clinic and they found I had a bad case of sleep apnea which is hard on your heart. Other Doctors just suggested a sleep study ; he is the one that had follow through. When I first met him I wasn't excited about him; you need to give him time he is excellent.
