Dr. Campbell performed my heart surgery, a triple bypass and aortic valve replacement in 2017. He did a great job and his team was top-notch. Although Dr. Campbell is younger than me, he reminded me of my older brother who passed away in 1983 due to complications from leukemia. These similarities to my big brother gave me a level of comfort before the surgery and helped me get over the fear that I had. Thank you Dr. Campbell and team!

Went to Dr Campbell for a consultation for a leaking aorta valve that needs to be replaced, I've heard nothing but great things about him and the Heart Center the best! When I called to ask about my insurance they said I would be fine, when I got there they said I have out of network benefits so it would cost a little more co pay , after doing some research and getting a quote from there billing department I found out I would have to pay $ 14000 my max out of pocket as long as the Anesthesiologist was in my network, which I was ok with, found out the Anesthesiologist is not in my network so I would have to pay thier bill in full which can be up to $30,000 from what I hear not sure but it can be expensive, Then I found out that they only take one Medicare advantage plan Health First which is their own plan that they sell! Are you kidding me? So unless you buy their plan your shit out of luck everyone is out of network unless you have thier plan as far as Medicare is concerned, I am not comfortable with the surgeon my Cardiologist sent me too but I have no choice I would have liked to have it done at the Heart Center!

I reall like his personality and he seen to care but I was looking for a friend I was hoping he was awesome Doctor. He is not anyone I would ever recommend he is in and out so quick you wonder why you bother to come. I had had a heart attack be for seeing him an excellent physician would still be with him but he went to another state. So my-story is one I hope no one ever has to go through. He really needs a test his self at some of decision he makes for his patients. I really like him when I first started going to him but he was in and out until you knew he didn't really have time for you. I was having a lot of problems with my blood pressure so I call his office to talk to him about what was going on with it. I had been on metoprolol 25 mg. And I also took a Losartan 50 mg. So our vacation was made for Two weeks in the mountains. When I called his office to tell his nurse told his nurse about my pressures going up and down need to find out what could be going on before we left to go on our vacation.She came back to phone to tell me that he said to totally go off Metoprolol I told her I could not do that I had been on it for about 25 years. She told me she would go back and talk to him. Again She came back to phone and said he said to go totally off of it. I was concerned but we left to go on our vacation and in a few days I got to I could not move my legs I got so weak we had to leave to come back home to Viera.it was late in the evening and I ended up in the ER Viera . When a doctor came in and ask what medicine I took and told him Dr. Campbell took me cold turkey off my metoprolol he immediately got me some to take and said no one should ever take you totally off. Y the way in Murphy NC on our way home. He ruined our vacation we lost a lot of money on that trip and no vacation and I was very sick because of a doctor who doctors who should have know better. My advice about him is stay away.

Dr. Campbell saved my life. From my diagnosis to my surgery was two days. He has a clear matter of fact way to explain what's going to happen and he was 100% correct. I had my Aortic valve replaced and two weeks later was walking three miles and have never felt better. Thank You to Dr Campbell and his staff for being amazing!
