Physicians Regional - Marco Island

I left 2 messages at the number listed on their website for the Marco Island office. The Marco office has a sign outside showing hours Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. I went there Friday at 2:30pm to try to get referral. The woman in office was rude, sarcastic and impatient with me. She told me I did not leave a message on her phone. When I showed her the number I left message she said that's not my number. I showed her that is the number given on their website. Again, pretty rudely she said she didn't get any message from me. I shouldn't matter whether she got a message or not. I'm a patient and I'm trying to get a referral from my Doctor. This woman needs lessons in customer service. Very poor representation for Physicians Primary Care.

Incredibly unprofessional. Came in after being recommended by a family member for my annual physical which is 100% covered by my insurance. The receptionist did not allow me to see the doctor and told me I had to pay $20 co pay. After waiting for 20 minutes she allowed someone else to go ahead of me, without requesting ANY payment from them, although they were 40 minutes past their appointment time. I left this place in tears, missed two hours of work and drove all the way from North Naples. This establishment doesn't even bother to call their patients to confirm their appointments! A total waste of money, time and energy.

I made an appointment with this office yesterday, they had an opening at 12 pm but I was told to arrive at 11:30 to fill out paperwork. I arrived on time and stood at the window while the person at the desk ignored me. She was speaking to someone but she didn't acknowledge my presence. I eventually had to sit down and waited for her to turn back to the window. I gave her my name, told her I had an appointment at 12 pm. I had not yet received my medical cards but did have a letter with my information on on it. She became very rude and asked if I was a pt. I said yes that Humana had sat it up for me. She then asked why I was there, I told her I was very sick and she told that if I were very sick I should have gone to an urgent care and that if I was sick I should have a mask on, as she shoved one at me. At this point I told her that I would leave, I was crying and turned and walked out. I understand that I am 74 years old and things do change but if one is sick, shouldn't one go to a doctors office? It's not all hopeless. I walked into their urgent care facility, paid $150 and met with very caring ladies. Angel and born Kristen. Think twice before going to this physicians office only because of the front desk.

Walked in at 4:05 pm with an eye issue. Woman was on the phone for 5 minutes before telling us they were closed! If you don't want to see patients within your own business hours then close and don't waist others time :-(

I'm a very compliant and understanding person and this is my first ever review on anything!!! I had an appointment scheduled for months with Dr.Acosta on a Tuesday at 5, I called them a few days before just to confirm with them what Dr. I'll be seeing that day. I was told that I was not going to be seen at 5 because Dr.Acosta likes to see her appointments earlier... they never called me to tell me that! AFTER MONTHS of having this appointment scheduled, I had to call to find this out. Now I have to wait 2 more months to possibly be seen. Poor communication.
