Love the guy and the girls are great ! He helped save my life with his diagnosis . That's why we find a cardiologist correct ? He truly cares . Even called me from the golf course . Just kidding. His sense of humor is great and doesnt believe in blowing smoke up your butt . He did a heart cath and found out i needed an ICD . Recommended the electrician Dr. Paul Gerczuk . Took care of business and been feeling much better since. Highly recommend them both .

Dr. Patel is an extremely condescending man. I came to him with SVT, heart failure with preserved ejection factor and diastolic dysfunction. I also needed cardio clearance for an upcoming surgery. He acted as if I was lying with the heart failure. He asked what my ejection factor was. When I replied 60, he said 'that's normal!' In a very exasperated tone. Yes....that's what the "with preserved ejection" factor means. He told me that I would need to get the reports and bring them to him. Release of records is not a thing with this office. As he rattled off questions to me, I explained that I have memory problems. I asked to get my S.O. on the phone so we could have more accurate dates (covid did a number on my memory!). He told me that he didn't have time for that and then proceeded to spend the next several minutes lecturing me on the importance of his time. I could have called my S.O. 5 times by then. He then told me that I need to lose a significant amount of weight. I agreed with him. Yes. I get it. I'm 5'4" and weigh 197. It's a real thing. He then went on about people thinking that it's so hard to lose weight. My response was that it'd be great to have a magic pill but that's not how it works. He looked at me and said "It's very easy. Look up in the sky. If you see a plane, lift your arm and wave to it. Then don't eat until the next time you see a plane. You'll lose the weight in no time.". What he didn't understand, or even ask, is what I've tried to do to lose weight. I've gone off of soda, more nights than not, I eat meat and veggies. I switched careers after covid, switching from a desk job to one where I walk quite a bit. I'd love nothing more than to get to a dietician to figure out what I'm doing wrong because my macros are screwed up somehow. Dr Patel doesn't care about anything other than pointing out his superiority and your worthlessness. Avoid this guy at all costs. I will put off my surgery for an additional month and find a cardiologist that cares rather than submit myself to him two more times to get clearance. Seriously, you don't want to go here.

I should have looked at the reviews before considering this doctor, it makes sense now. I recommend going anywhere else. They do not care about patients. If I could give zero stars I would.

The first time I visited the office was ok but the other visits were a bit uncomfortable. One of the ladies in the front desk is in a bad mood most of the time. She doesn't like patients asking more than 1 question. You just have to commit to everything they say and never ask questions. They are the only ones that know.. you are just a patient. That's the vibe in that office. How dare you tell the staff or the doctor about different alternatives to treat your condition. What do you know right.. you are not a doctor. When I asked for my medical records the doctor had some fun time with his unnecessary comments in the report. Maybe he wanted to be a comedian before becoming a doctor. You can measure the level of professionalism in his ridiculous comments. I would never recommend this place to anybody. Their is a huge lack of professionalism and courtesy from the staff to the patient. Find another Cardiologist..

This doctor did NOT do his job with my father. My dad was having chest pains for months in lots of pain where he was down for months. When he went to this doctor if thats what you want to call him he was told by him to do yoga and meditation for his chest pains. And failed to check his heart accurately my dad ended up in the hospital from a massive heart attack needed triple bypass surgery. Had to be bayflighted to Orlando where he passed away. I DO NOT Reccomend this doctor find another one its for your own good.
