Dr. Robert B. Gibson is a cardiologist with Orlando Health Medical Group FHV Health in Leesburg. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease & internal medicine & his expertise includes echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, general cardiology diagnostics and cardioversion. Dr. Gibson strives to treat each patient with compassion and understanding. He earned his medical degree at East Tennessee State University's James H. Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, where he also performed his fellowship in cardiovascular disease. Outside of work, he enjoys martial arts, spending time with family & playing piano.

I had a great first visit with Dr. Gibson. He was kind, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He took his time and didn't rush the appt. The sweet young lady who did my EKG and took my vitals was really nice! My experience was great from start to finish!

We love Dr. Gibson!!! He's young, smart, up on the latest info and knows how to train his assistants. We had a first hand experience with that when my husband and I both had an appt together. Also, love to ask him about his 4 yr old son. I love seeing his enjoyment in describing the latest things happening as he is just so proud of that boy and how he is growing up! 5 stars for Dr. Gibson!!!

He is one of the best in his field, is one of those rare doctors who will take the time to listen and talk with his patients, and he has kept up with the latest developments in the field of Cardiology. I strongly recommend him, and I am grateful for his care.
