It's sad that I see myself unable to rate IMA because of the admiration and respect I have for Dr Korley, and Dr Tosado who is currently my PCP. I hope that Dr Korley and Dr Tosado can review this post or someone that can relate the message in this post. I was Dr Korley's patient for a good amount of years and he is a great doctor as well as Dr Tosado, but some of his staff are in dyer need of training. Their listening skills and continued interruption while patients are still trying to express their needs has become an issue for a few years now and still today has worsen. These few unmentioned staff members rather hear themselves speak as if they're reading a cue card as appose to listening so that can be helped to direct a patient to their area of need. I had fallen in my home on October 24, 2025 and called the after hours number whom never reported my need to speak to a doctor and in waiting a couple of days I decided to go to the ER. Moving forward I had a virtual follow up with Dr Tosado and she and I decided that I needed a referral to see my pain management doctor because I had injured my tailbone and the pain was severe and the ER X-ray didn't show broken bones but there could've been other complications that didn't show. Since the time of my virtual appointment with my doctor whom put in a referral to see the pain management doctor almost 2 weeks had gone by and after many calls I made myself I was told by a staff member of IMA on October 19, 2025 that the reason my referral wasn't processed was because their Referral Coordinator at the S. Lakeland Office had left their position so they had to wait to get another coordinator to pick up the paperwork. I had to call my insurance and explain the excruciating pain I've been in since October 24, 2025 and they wrote a grievance on their own because this is part of the process. My insurance expressed to me that the actual referral wasn't submitted to them to until until the morning of November 21, 2025 to see my pain management doctor. Today November 28, 2025 I spoke with a staff member who apparently sent the message that I asked to be sent to my PCP to call me about another health situation I've been encountering and her response was that she related the message to my PCP and that my PCP sent my message to their Office Manager which in fact isn't equip to speak to any patient about any health concerns. I am sadden and upset about this incompetent action that has taken place and hope that Dr Korley reaches out to me like the Dr I've known him to be. The conversation with this staff member went completely south because 1 she wouldn't let me speak and 2 she started laughing at the frustration she herself had created during our conversation as I continued to explain my needs and at the time of my husband's needs to leave a message to Dr Idrees. They have the recording as they say they have done in the past so hopefully Dr Korley can fix this ongoing horrific situation with his staff members. Brenda Bobe....
