Dr Lopez is a fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist who has been providing expert cardiovascular and nuclear cardiology care in Central Florida for more than 20 years. A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, he received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and carried out his internal medicine residency at Saint ElizabethaEU(tm)s Medical Center in Boston. He thereafter completed his four-year advanced subspecialty training in interventional cardiology at the University of Vermont. Dr Lopez joined the AdventHealth family when the cardiology practice to which he has belonged since 2003 became part of AdventHealth Medical Group in 2021.

I can't say enough on Dr. Lopez he is amazing doctor that spends time with you and explain everything step by step. I am his walking miracle. From a procedure to a heart attack then a blood clot and died for 8 min all at having 1 procedure. He gave me life actually life. Thank you I owe you so much
Dr Lopez is a amazing doctor . I couldn't be happier. Not only is he very knowledgeable but he has a great bedside manner. He cares alot about his patients and spends as much time as you need to get the answers you want. He is very thorough and always has a smile on his face.
Dr Lopez is a good physician. His office staff is another issue. I had 11AM appointment on Aug 12. They ask you to come 15 min early I did. I checked in and gave my cards to reception. No further communication. After an hour wait, others in a packed waiting room began to talk. People with a 10AM appointment were still waiting. The office did not alert anyone to the fact he was an hour and fifteen minutes or more late. I drove an hour from Titusville and had scheduled a dermatologist appointment at 12:45. Finally at 12:00 while still in waiting room had to call my dermatologist in Longwood that I could not make it. It upset me to only be able to give him a 45 min heads up. If the receptionist had told me when I checked in I could have given them more notice. This is the first time with this staff. Not Dr Lopez fault.
Very hard to get an appointment changed or book one they always say will call you back and sometimes I don't hear from him and I was like saying hey the checks in the mail yeah right okay
Had the pleasure of being assigned Doctor Lopez while in Lake Monroe Hospital. He is by far the most genuine, caring and thorough doctor. Great bed side manner, taking several minutes to explain everything to ensure me and my family understood treatment. Your a GREAT Doctor thank you sir! DP
