So very sad to hear of the death of Dr. Patrick Kevin William's. There are not words to tell you what a wonderful, kind, compassionate doctor he was. He treated my husband and did everything he could to advance my husband's treatment. Dr. William's went above and beyond what you would expect of any doctor. Dr. William's later became my doctor after my own heart attack. May God comfort your family.

My wife had a sonogram at the FHVC. Apparently, when she called FHV to confirm her appointment and double check the location, the receptionist sent her to the wrong facility. They were able to squeeze her into their schedule and her wait time was only 1/2 hour. Although it was FHV's call receptionist's error, the check-in staff were all bent out of shape when they were dealing with the issue. They were not very pleasant with my wife. One person was downright rude. When my wife was called out of the waiting room to take her sonogram test, she again had to deal with a technician who also had an unpleasant attitude. Not fun! People with bad, rude attitudes should NOT be in the business of dealing with customers. The only reason I gave a 3 star rating was because they did manage to see her within 1/2 hour.

My poor hubby has really been totally misdiagnosed. Assuming FHV does deal with numerous symptoms of the heart then why was the almost totally blocked femoral artery never detected. He had he had stress tests, ultrasound, heart Cath, all were ok but symptoms were still present. Tomorrow he will have a femoral bypass surgery in Ocala. After taking him to the ER in Summerfield the Dr there diagnosed the problem within 30 minutes! Both of us have been patients of FHV for over 10 years and see a huge difference in the office since the Orlando Health System took over. Obviously the heart Dr didn't want to think outside the box and check the obvious vascular issues. This group of doctors as of August 1st no longer are they providers for United healthcare unless they come to an agreement $$$. We will not return to an office that cannot provide total heart and vascular care. My hubby very easily could have had a stroke, heart attack or worse.

The one thing that disappointed me was the lack of appreciation for the value of my time. We arrived 15 minutes early as directed but were not informed that the doctor was running nearly an hour late. It would have been nice had someone called to let us know he was running late and see whether we would prefer to reschedule or were fine with waiting. The person taking people in was short with me and didn't apologize. She stated that it is a "geriatric practice" and the doctor ran into an issue in the morning that made him late. I understand being late, but an apology and some information would have been highly appreciated. I probably wouldn't suggest going to The Villages office.

OMG, just got a call stating that Dr Williams passed away yesterday. He was an excellent doctor with a bed side manner like no other. Rest in peace doc. You will be missed!!! Prayers for your family and staff.
