Sunil Kakkar, M.D.

Dr Kakkar has been my cardiologist for 26 years. I credit him for finding an issue in my heart that probably saved my life 26 years ago. Still see him regularly to keep up on my health. I consider him a friend.

Dr. Sunil Kakkar is our family Cardiologist for years. Dr. Kakkar is very knowledgeable, experienced, and very attentive to his patient's needs. Dr. Kakkar takes his time to listen to patient's concerns, answer questions, and provides personalized care that meets patient's individual needs. Everytime we have an appointment for my mother and brother, I call a week in advance to have the front desk request the referrals needed. I call back the day before the appointment to find out that no one follows up to ensure the referral is in place for the appointment. This happens for every appointment. When I call, I ask for the supervisor and 25 minutes later they still don't pick up the phone. The front desk says it's my responsibility to get the referral. I call our family physician, they say that I cannot get one it is the responsibility of the specialist to request and obtain the referrals. I canceled the dr requested follow up appointments with Dr Kakkar and will only make an appointment if needed. Dr. Kakkar and the medical staff are the best, however the office staff is subpar and they don't care to help their customers. This is the same for every appointment.

Excellent cardiologist very experienced

I have been seeing Dr Kakkar for years. There have been minor bumps along the way but overall I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr Kakkar and the office staff. Thank for you have done for me over the years.
