This review is not about the doctor, as I have only seen him once. This review is about their scheduling staff. I have been waiting for over A month now to schedule some in office testing. Do to poor service, I have not been able get ahold of anyone to schedule anything. I've tried many times to reach their scheduling people, only to get transferred to a voicemail. Left several messages for them to call me at certain times due to work. Only to have it not acknowledged. I specigicslly took time off in the morning to call and schedule, but again was transferred to voicemail. I called back. The person was very rude and said all she can do is transfer me to the voicemail. I tried to explain my situation but she just hung up on me while I was still talking. Because I was pressed for time, I called back and tried to get to a supervisor, and was told I was being transferred to a person. but got transferred to a voicemail. I called back a couple of more times but they just picked up the line and hang up, or they would just let the phone ring and not pick up. As you can imagine , I was so furious, especially since I had taken the morning off to make these important Appointments. I am so baffled at the quality of customer service nowadays, or the lack of I should say. How do you just hang up on a patient, or ignore their calls when they call, because you don't want to bother with them? I really hope that their office reads these reviews, and seriously do some corrective action. Because no patient should be treated like this. Due to this experience , I've chosen not to return to this office and take my business elsewhere.

RE: Dr. Johnson Massey

One of the most dismissive and uncaring medical experiences I've ever had.
I was even called to come in urgently after my monitor showed concerning alerts, told not to wait for my follow-up. Naturally, I was worried. But what I was told over the phone and what I was told in person were not consistent. Instead of clarity, I got contradictions, assumptions, and a doctor unwilling to see me as a whole person.
I gave this cardiologist two chances, hoping the second visit would be better -- but it was worse. Both times, he stood by the door (even near the garbage can), never sitting down or making me feel like I had his attention. He repeatedly cut me off, repeated himself, and made it clear he wasn't interested in anything I had to say. At one point, he told me he had other patients waiting and had to go -- even though the waiting room was completely empty during my morning appointment.
I'm an intelligent person who understands the technicalities of my health, and I came prepared for an open, intelligent conversation about my symptoms and history. Instead, he insisted on controlling the dialogue, not allowing me the space to speak, listen, or be respected. I know my medical record better than he does, and the least he could have done was acknowledge my experience, my symptoms, and my perspective.
After wearing a heart monitor for a week, I expected care and collaboration. Instead, I was dismissed, disregarded, and left feeling worthless -- set back to square one in my search for answers.
I will not return and cannot recommend this doctor to anyone seeking compassionate or professional care. Patients deserve respect, empathy, and a doctor willing to listen. None of that happened here.
