Dr Asim Aijaz is a board-certified oncologist and internal medicine physician. He completed his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship training in hematology/oncology at New York Medical College/Westchester Medical Center where he received commendations for outstanding clinical skills and was named both administrative Chief Resident and administrative Chief Fellow. He received his medical degree from The Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi, Pakistan. Dr Aijaz is a member of the American Board of Medical Oncology, the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He is a highly respected researcher in the areas of hematology and oncology, having published multiple studies in the literature.

Dr. Aijaz has been my doctor for five years. He's without doubt one of the most caring doctors I have ever had. He listens to all my concerns and explains everything so completely. His office staff is equally as nice. We're going to be moving to South Carolina in the near future and the thought of losing him as my doctor causes me concern. I won't be moving until I find someone that can measure up to him, if they're even out there.
Dr Aijaz is a very thorough doctor explains everything that you can understand it. You can tell that he cares about you not only as a patient but as a person. And everyone in the office is very friendly, professional and helpful. Great experience.
From the minute I walked into his office I felt I was in good hands . The staff all were efficient and kind . Dr. Aijaz knew my history and previous test results before he came into my exam room . Answered my questions without rushing and formed a plan of action before I left. I really felt he cared about my feelings and I was relaxed when I left. I would definitely recommend him as a really knowledgeable, caring doctor !
