Dr. Abovich said I needed mitral valve surgery, and wanted to refer me to a local cardiovascular surgeon. I decided to go out of town, and get a state of the art kineric nuclear MRI study that was not available in the Palm Beach area at the time. While I was told that there was some valve reflux, the assessment was that I did not need a valve stricture or valve replacement. Three years later I continue to play tennis and padel weekly and remain aymptomatic. My advice would be to go elsewhere. While his staff is wonderful, the doctor has poor bedside manner, and in my opinion, would go broke if money could buy a personality.

Doctors treat patients. When a patient in need calls it would be nice not to get a lecture about your $50 cancellation fee, but let's address the health issue then we can talk about cancelling. I will happily send you a check and NEVER recommend you ever again as I do almost on a daily basis. You are a fantastic physician... it's a shame. By the way, my mother died two weeks ago.

I had already suffered an abdominal aortic aneurysm when I first saw Dr Abovich. The doctor went back through several years of my records and discovered that the full body MRI I'd had five years earlier, looking for metastasized cancers, had actually shown TWO aneurysms. For some reason, my doctors at that time only noticed one in the radiologist's report. The missed one had been the worse of the two. If Abovich hadn't gone back and found that, I'd be dead, dead, dead. On top of all that, he's an excellent doctor and a really remarkable person. His command of his subject and attention to detail are actually stunning. His staff is professional AND caring. I cannot recommend him or his office more highly. They are perfect

Not enough Doctors practice medicine like Dr. Abovich. He truly cares about your health and doesn't cut corners. Entire staff is pleasant and a team. One of the best Docs ever!!

Not only the doctor but each of his staff are also consistently friendly, professional, and efficient.
