Dr. Augusto E. Villa, MD

I have been with Dr Villa for 20 years, and he has guided me thru several cardiac issues, and worked with both my primary care and endocrinologist to provide the necessary interventions that allows me to live an active and rewarding lifestyle as I am now in my mid 70's. He has inspired me to make healthy changes in my life, keeping my medical profile in excellent range, losing over 60 pounds of excess weight on my way to college weight of 185. He has an excellent staff, though more cautious in my discussion, but each gives me a follow up by phone within days after they consult with the good doctor. I am a retired fire/medic, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instuctor. I worked with many fine Cardiac doctors in my professional career. I know the medical business. My brother is a top surgeon. I know what it takes to be an all around great doctor, and I am truly greatful to be a patient of Doctor Augusto Villa . Thank you so much for being there for me, and my family as well.

Dr Villa is a highly compassionate, and extremely gifted interventional cardiologist, who is a master of the wrist ( radial artery) technique for the procedure of cardiac catheterization. Thankful for his skill , as I quickly recovered , and immediately resumed all activities.

Dr. Villa is actually Superman though he hides his cape under the Dr.'s white coat. I've known of so many hundreds and hundreds of surgeries which have all been successful. He's great with patients and deeply cares about each and every patient. Saving Lives is what he's known.

I heard he was a great physician. Went for my first appointment today. Had a 2 PM appointment and still wasn't called in by 3PM. When I went to the front desk the very pleasant receptionist told me he was excellent but runs late. I said, "This isn't late this is ridiculous!" She asked me to sit down and she would find out how long it would be. A few minutes later his nurse spoke to me inside the office and explained that he had a myocardial emergency earlier so was running late. There were still three patients he hadn't seen waiting before me so couldn't give me an exact time. I explained that I was a retired physician who had regular emergencies but I never treated patients like this. If that's the situation you explain the circumstances to the waiting patients and they have the option of waiting or rescheduling. Until I spoke up no one approached me to explain the circumstances. It reminded me and I reminded them of a Jerry Seinfeld episode when he makes a car rental reservation. "You can take a reservation but you can't keep the reservation. That's the important part." Needless to say I walked out. He may well be an excellent physician but that is no way to treat patients.

My dad karl said he is provided great treatment for his heart conditions at this facility.
