Jay R. Patterson, MD, is a cardiac electrophysiologist with Ascension St. Vincent's in Jacksonville, FL. He is board-certified in electrophysiology and cardiology and provides personalized, compassionate care to adults ages 18 and older. Dr. Patterson has a special interest in arrhythmia management, including cardiac devices and ablations. When not caring for patients, Dr. Patterson enjoys being outside, including backpacking, kayaking and skiing.

Dr. Patterson is one of the best if not the best Cardiologist in the area. He has been treating me now for a fib for a little over a year. He is very Professional, Knowledgeable and has the best bed side manner of any doctor that I have seen.. He doesn't rush you and will answer all your questions. I would recommend Dr. Patterson to anyone who need a Cardiologist.

Dr Patterson is absolutely fantastic. Very skilled and knowledgeable cardiologist, but also takes the time to answer questions and never makes you feel rushed. Front office staff on the other hand could be friendlier. No smile, no greeting. Seemed like they woke up on the wrong side of the bed and hadn't had their morning coffee. This is my first visit to this office and it was not a good first impression. Maybe I'll go back to seeing Dr Patterson at the hospital in Riverside. Much friendlier people there.
