I have been in this facility twice in 2025. I'm actually here right now. I went to St Vincent South once. I prefer this hospital because it's closer to my home. Baptist has a great system, too. No complaints. If you're on the third floor, you will have great staff! The RN, Macy, was the best!!! She stood out to me the most, and the CNA said everyone loves her at the hospital. You can tell she loves her career. Very attentive and caring towards her patients!

My wife and I had an extremely distressing and traumatic experience at Baptist Medical Center Beaches that we feel compelled to share. Throughout her pregnancy, my wife suffered from a severe form of Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) beginning just two weeks in. She was unable to keep down food or water, was vomiting dozens of times a day, and continued to lose weight for weeks. As a medical PA, she knew she urgently needed nutritional support such as TPN or PPN, but despite repeatedly requesting it, she was denied both for six months. Instead, the only option presented to her early on was gallbladder removal at 15 weeks, an invasive surgery that carried risks for both her and our unborn son. When the surgery did not resolve the issue, we were repeatedly sent through the ER for IV fluids without nutrition, only to be discharged while her condition continued to decline. At one point, when we asked why nutrition support was being withheld, Dr. Crismond laughed and referenced a small infection risk. Meanwhile, my wife's health was deteriorating rapidly. She was experiencing concerning symptoms involving her heart and other organs. Out of desperation, she eventually posted publicly on social media describing her condition and mentioning that she was being treated at Baptist Beaches. Shortly after, while I stepped out briefly, hospital HR and PR staff came into her room and reprimanded her for speaking publicly about her experience. Following that exchange, she was finally approved for PPN, care she had been requesting for months. We later learned her heart issues may have been related to Zofran that was administered despite repeated system warnings. She also received IV potassium without saline, which caused severe vein damage and painful phlebitis. When she asked for a heat pack, the correct treatment, she was repeatedly given ice instead. When we showed medical information explaining the proper care, the nurse raised her voice at us and threatened to remove me from the hospital until a charge nurse intervened. During all of this, my wife began experiencing chest and heart pain. Despite us reporting these symptoms, cardiology was never called to evaluate her. Even after changing hospitalists, the level of care did not improve. The chaos and lack of attention to her condition left us terrified for both her life and our baby's. By the grace of God, my wife and our child survived. However, my wife now lives with permanent health issues, and our son is showing signs of being affected as well. This entire experience has left us heartbroken, shaken, and deeply disappointed. I have never encountered anything like what we went through at Baptist Medical Center Beaches.

Huge Shoutout to Beaches Baptist Hospital! Friday night (Halloween, no less!), I had to take a friend to the ER around 8:45 PM. From the moment we walked in, the staff jumped into action -- he was seen immediately, assessed, and cared for with incredible professionalism and kindness. Within just a few hours, they had a clear diagnosis and plan. Surgery was performed the next day, and unbelievably, he was walking out like nothing ever happened the following day! Every single person we encountered -- from the ER team Friday night to the STU unit staff over the weekend -- showed compassion, efficiency, and true dedication. The level of customer service and care was so good, you almost forgot you were in a hospital. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team at Beaches Baptist Hospital. You made a stressful situation smooth, reassuring, and full of grace.

I had the opportunity to visit Beach Baptist Hospital for outpatient bloodwork. The check-in process at the volunteer desk was pleasant, and I experienced only a brief wait before my name was called for service. Once again, the staff provided a commendable experience. Upon arriving at the Lab Department, I submitted my paperwork and was promptly called in for my procedure. The lab technician was both courteous and professional, ensuring everything went smoothly. I was in and out quickly, allowing me to head to the cafeteria for breakfast. Overall, the service provided to patients is exceptional!

Nothing to say other than everyone was great, quick, attentive, and professional. Martina was a great nurse, Hayden and all the other CT/MRI techs were great as well. The doctor was a straight shooter and was nice as well.
